One of the things we love and tout about the ACI Awards Program is the feedback judges provide to each entry. Another thing we like about ACI in general is the way we share tips, ideas and information with each other.
So, here’s a question: What’s the best feedback or advice you’ve received from a judge? Have you followed that advice and found it improved your work? Did it backfire and not work at all? (Okay, that’s three questions.)
Please share your best (or worst) judges’ comments and anything that happened as a result. It doesn’t have to be from the latest contest. Feedback from any contest year is fine.
Email your thoughts to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ll collect the input and share it in the November issue of The Balance Wheel. I won’t reveal your name or affiliation (unless you want me to), but please do mention the category.
