This issue of The Balance Wheel is published on March 15, which also happens to be the deadline for entering the ACI Awards Contest. Depending on when you read this, you’ve either submitted your entries, are scrambling like mad to meet the deadline, or missed the boat.

Regardless, the next phase of the contest is the objective evaluation of entries by qualified judges. And that’s where you can come in…

We need judges in the following categories:

• Graphics: Layout;
• Internal Communications;
• Magazine;
• Magazine: Destination/Historical/Cultural;
• Magazine: General Interest;
• News Release;
• One-time Publication: Book/Report;
• One-time Publication: Other;
• Regulations;
• Photography (4 categories)

Please consider being a judge in one of the contest categories, or recruiting qualified judges from your professional peers outside you agency. Naturally, you can’t judge a category in which your agency is entered.
