The Association for Conservation Information (ACI) is a non-profit organization of natural resources communicators. We serve to further natural resource conservation and exchange. We are made up of professionals representing state, federal and Canadian wildlife conservation and parks and natural resource agencies as well as private conservation organizations.
ACI offers its members many benefits, the most important of which is the opportunity to network with other conservation communicators and educators across the country.
The Association for Conservation Information (ACI) elected Aaron Meier, Nevada Department of Wildlife, as its new president during its Annual Meeting in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The 2025 Association for Conservation Information Awards Contest Winners Announced

The Association for Conservation Information (ACI) is the only nationwide competition exclusively for education, information and public relations professionals who specialize in conservation. The ACI Awards contest features 35 categories and promotes craft improvement through competition. Work submitted was completed in 2024.
The Association for Conservation Information will be giving 5 states $50,000 each to implement marketing strategies to accomplish recruitment, retention, and reactivation (R3) of hunters and shooters. These marketing strategies will need to be measurable with the number one focus of the results being license sales.
ACI’s official podcast, “The Outdoor Communicators” debuted in January, 2024. Since then, 11 new episodes have been published discussing topics such as social media, crisis communicaitons, marketing and video storytelling.
